Upon submission, this form will be sent to our Guarantee Services Department to begin processing your transfer request. They will contact you if they require further information. If you have any questions or need to provide further information not included on this form, please call 800-922-8800 and press option number one to be transferred to a Guarantee Representative.

Following are the terms to transfer/assign a Siplast guarantee to a new owner.

  1. Siplast will review the project installation history, as well as any previous guarantee claims.
  2. Siplast will invoice a transfer fee at a minimum of $1,500.00 for guarantee and inspection fees. (Please note, after a review of the file this amount may increase due to existing circumstances, i.e. building size, number of buildings, previous roof claims, etc.).
  3. Upon receipt of payment, an inspection of the roof is performed by authorized Siplast personnel with an owners’ representative present. An inspection punch list report of Siplast's observations will be provided to the representative. The punch list may contain items that need to be addressed by the owner, using an approved Siplast roofing contractor. The owner must hire the contractor to complete any required items and the contractor must submit the signed punch list to confirm such completion.
  4. Upon receipt of the signed punch list report, the Assignment and Consent to transfer documents are drafted and sent to the owners' representative(s) to have the previous and new owners sign. The signed documents must be returned to Siplast to have our representative's signature added. Copies of the fully executed documents are then sent to the owners' representative for delivery to the necessary stakeholders in the transfer process.
